We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for artists to showcase their creativity and contribute to the beautification of a newly renovated Center of Offshore Wind Excellence at the Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies (MITAGS) in Linthicum Heights, MD. MITAGS is hosting a mural competition, and we invite everyone to participate.
Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges. The winner will be selected based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and feasibility for the designated location. A prize of $500 will be awarded to the winner, plus the cost of materials. If necessary, assistance will be provided to complete the final mural. MITAGS will host the winner and up to 20 guests for a tour of the MITAGS campus, lunch, and a ride on our full mission ship simulator.
Together, let’s create something beautiful to enrich the training space for the next generation of mariners!
